It was reported on 8th April that the Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF), at Madeira International Airport, had intercepted and arrested a national citizen wanted for robbery.

The arrest of the citizen, 39 years of age, who arrived on a flight from the United Kingdom, was made in compliance with arrest warrants issued by the 3rd Criminal Court of the Judicial Court of Funchal.
