The Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF) detained at the airport in Lisbon, in recent days, nine foreign nationals, in the scope of border control.
Three foreign citizens, aged 30, 28 and 20, were intercepted and detained by SEF, in control of departure from national territory, when they intended to travel to Ireland, identifying themselves with counterfeit Romanian, Greek and Italian identity cards.
Two foreign nationals, one man and one woman, respectively, who were traveling to Canada, with fake Italian passports and two other foreign nationals, both 39, were detained for using other people’s documents (Swedish and French passports). English). All detainees were present at the judicial authorities.
A 48-year-old foreign citizen was captured in pursuance of a European Arrest Warrant, which was sought to serve a seven-year prison sentence for fraudulent bankruptcy. Present at the Court of Appeal, he awaited the further terms of the proceedings at the prison establishment with the PJ.
Another 40-year-old foreign citizen was also detained pursuant to an Operation Captura warrant for the execution of the 3-year and 5-month prison sentence following his conviction for committing crimes of simple theft, aggravated robbery, possession of a prohibited weapon and of trafficking and mediation of arms. The individual was taken to the Lisbon Prison.
